100% Linen Semi-Sheer V-Neck Cropped Shirt

A cropped linen shirt built for an office that's warmer than the air conditioning admits. A v-neck and cap sleeves keep it light at the shoulder, while a partial elastic waist at the back does the shaping instead of a fitted seam. The front is pleated and garment-dyed, so it moves rather than sitting flat against you.

The fabric

100% linen, mediumweight and semi-sheer, with no stretch. Because it's semi-sheer, most people layer a cami or singlet underneath — it's a look that trades a little coverage for a lot of airflow.

The fit

Regular fit with a v-neck and cap sleeves, cropped at regular length with a partial elastic waist at the back for movement without a fitted cut. The pleating at front adds a little volume without adding bulk.

How to wear it

Tucked or half-tucked into trousers or a skirt for the office. Charcoal Black and Optic White read the most formal; Light Azure and Natural Melange sit more casual.

Care

Machine wash cold, hang to dry in the shade. Skip the tumble dryer and iron warm while still slightly damp if you want the creases out — most of us don't bother on the north coast.
