Named for the coast
Casuarina began on the far north coast of New South Wales — named for the she-oaks that hold the dunes together from Kingscliff the whole way down to Byron. Summer here starts in November and doesn't let go until March.
We wanted one wardrobe for the whole of it. Linen and natural fibres that survive a thirty-five degree day. Shirts, dresses, pants, skirts, sets. Chosen by hand, one piece at a time, in colours that work with sand and salt water instead of against them.
