At Casuarina we think getting dressed in summer should take about four seconds. Reach, pull on, go — and still look like you meant it.
We're a small label on the north coast of New South Wales. This started the way a lot of good things do: we couldn't find what we were looking for. Linen that actually holds up through a thirty-five degree day, cut properly, from one label instead of five. So we stopped waiting and put a collection together ourselves.
Where We Began
Casuarina is the she-oak — the scrappy, salt-tolerant tree that holds the dunes together the whole way down this coast. It seemed like the right thing to name a summer label after.
We started small, and we still are. Every piece is chosen by hand — not pulled from an endless catalogue, but picked one at a time for how it feels, how it moves, and whether we'd genuinely wear it ourselves. If it doesn't earn a place in our own wardrobes, it doesn't make the collection.
What We Believe
Style isn't about chasing every trend. It's a handful of pieces you reach for again and again — the ones that make getting ready simple, and make you feel like yourself.
We're not here to sell you a new wardrobe every season. We're here for the shirt you'll still be wearing in five summers, and the dress that gets packed for every trip up the coast.
Chosen With Care
We work in natural fibres — linen, cotton poplin, hemp blends — because they breathe, they drape better the more you wear them, and they don't turn a hot day into a bad one. Cuts that move without clinging, in a palette built around sand, salt and shade.
Everything runs true to size, with its own size guide in centimetres and inches. No exaggerated claims, no fine print — just well-made clothes we're happy to put our name on.
