A midi dress cut from mediumweight 100% linen, with a braided trim at the round neck and an uneven handkerchief hem that hangs longer at the points. Sleeveless, regular fit, garment-dyed for a soft, worn-in Deep Teal.
The fabric
170gsm 100% linen, garment-dyed. Opaque, no stretch, mediumweight. Linen this weight holds its shape through a day out and softens with washing, so the dress only gets more comfortable over time. Expect the usual linen crease — it's part of the fabric, not a flaw in the make.
The fit
Regular through the body, sleeveless, with light ruching at the neckline that gives the braided trim somewhere to sit. The handkerchief hem drops unevenly rather than sitting level, longer at the front and back points and shorter through the sides, so it moves rather than staying static when you walk.
How to wear it
Wear it loose for the coast, or add sandals and a woven bag for a market day. Because it's sleeveless, a light layer works underneath for cooler mornings. The braided neckline is the detail worth showing off, so keep layering minimal.
