A tailored midi dress in a heavier viscose blend, with stretch built into the weave. Ruched detailing and a v-neck keep it from reading plain, and long sleeves make it a three-season piece rather than a summer-only one. Side pockets mean it works without a bag on hand, and the tailored cut does most of the work of dressing it up.
The fabric
Viscose blend, 250gsm, heavyweight, with stretch. Opaque enough to wear without a slip underneath, and heavy enough that it holds a clean line rather than clinging. The stretch is what lets a heavier fabric like this still move with a full day of sitting and standing.
The fit
Tailored fit, v-neck, long sleeves, midi length. Ruched detailing runs through the body, with side pockets set into the seams for keys, a phone or a card wallet.

Machine wash cold, hang to dry in the shade. Viscose loses shape in a hot dryer, so don't risk it - a slower air dry keeps the tailored line intact wash after wash.
