A relaxed linen midi dress with ruching through the body and a round neck. One layer, no lining seams to fight with, made for weather that doesn't cool down after lunch and doesn't ask much of you to look put together.
The fabric
100% linen at 145gsm, mediumweight with no stretch. It's semi-sheer, so a slip is worth considering underneath depending on the colour and the light. Garment-dyed for a soft, settled tone that shifts slightly from piece to piece.
The fit
Relaxed through the body with a straight H-line silhouette, round neck and half sleeves. Sits at midi length, ruched through the torso rather than fitted, so it moves with you instead of pulling at the seams.
How to wear it
An everyday dress for casual, comfortable wear — sandals and a straw bag for daytime, or dressed up slightly with heels for dinner. Easy to travel in and just as easy to wear straight off the hanger with no ironing required.
