100% Cotton Elastic-Waist Tapered Pants
A tapered pant in heavyweight cotton, with a partial elastic waist instead of a full waistband. Tailored fit, full length, one colourway: Charcoal Black.
The fabric
198gsm 100% cotton, opaque with no stretch. Heavier than the linen pieces in the range, so it holds a tailored line without needing a stiff interlining. Solid colour, no pattern.
The fit
Tailored fit through the hip and thigh, tapering toward the ankle. Partial elastic waist, mid-rise, full length. The elastic sits at the back of the waistband rather than running the full way round, keeping the front flat and the silhouette closer to a tailored trouser than a track pant.
How to wear it
Reads closer to a smart trouser than a casual pant, given the tapered leg and tailored fit. Wear with a tucked top for a sharper line, or a longer layer over the top for cooler days. The heavier cotton holds a crease at the front of the leg if you want one, without needing a separate press each time.
