The fabric
100% linen, woven heavyweight and finished with a semi-sheer hand. There is no stretch in this cloth, which is normal for linen at this weight and part of why it holds its shape instead of clinging in the heat.
The fit
Regular through the body with a straightforward v-neck and no sleeves at all, so airflow is not blocked at the shoulder. Regular length, sitting at the hip rather than cropped or long. A layering piece as much as a standalone one, given the semi-sheer weave.
How to wear it
Everyday summer wear rather than office or occasion dressing. Layer over a bralette for the beach car park and the walk home, or under a shirt for shade when the sun gets low. Pairs with linen trousers or denim shorts without either fighting for attention.
